WHO WE ARE
HiSERV North America is the strategic North American extension of HiSERV GmbH, one of Europe's leading Ground Support Equipment leasing companies. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Germany, HiSERV has built a platform managing more than 14,000 GSE units across 13 countries and 50+ airport hubs throughout Europe.
We launched HiSERV North America in March 2026, based in Oak Brook, Illinois, with a clear mandate: bring a global standard of GSE leasing discipline and flexibility to the North American market.
Our platform is backed by long-term institutional capital, purpose-built to support multi-year fleet investment cycles for airlines, ground handlers, and airport operators across the United States and Canada.

Erin O'Donnell
Job TitlePresident
Erin O'Donnell is President of HiSERV North America, responsible for establishing and leading the company's North American operations. She brings a career defined by large-scale aviation leadership, financial discipline, and the ability to build and run complex organizations from the ground up.Before joining HiSERV, Erin served for more than 22 years as Managing Deputy Commissioner of Chicago Midway International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the United States. In that role she was directly responsible for all airport operations including finance, facility maintenance, airside and landside operations, capital development, and community relations, leading a large organization of direct and contracted employees. She developed and managed a substantial annual operating budget and led the airport's multi-billion dollar capital development plan, including the New Terminal Development Program and the Midway Modernization Program. She subsequently served as President of a commercial fleet leasing company, where she applied that same financial and operational discipline to a leasing platform before bringing it to HiSERV North America.Erin brings to HiSERV North America the kind of institutional credibility and operational depth that only comes from decades of leading mission-critical aviation infrastructure at scale.
Matt Weitzel
VP of Sales and Marketing
Matt Weitzel is Vice President of Sales and Marketing at HiSERV North America, bringing more than 18 years of experience in the GSE industry across manufacturing, sales, leasing, and marketing. His career spans the full GSE ecosystem, beginning at TUG Technologies where he managed large-scale procurement and led the go-to-market strategy for one of the industry's first electric GSE vehicles. He then moved to Textron GSE as Sales Manager, earning recognition as a top performer and developing deep relationships across the North American market.Most recently, Matt held a senior sales and marketing leadership role in the commercial aviation leasing industry, where he led the organization's strategic shift toward a leasing-first commercial model and secured its first major airline leasing agreement. He also founded and hosts The GSE Podcast, the number one podcast in the ground support equipment industry.Matt brings to HiSERV North America deep GSE technical knowledge built across manufacturing and sales, strong relationships with major airlines and ground handlers across North America, and a proven ability to build brands and commercial platforms from the ground up.
David Farias
Director of Commercial Development
David Farias is Director of Commercial Development at HiSERV North America. He brings a rare combination of operational and commercial expertise, having previously served as Vice President of North American Fleet for one of the world's largest ground handling companies. In that role, he was responsible for managing one of the most extensive GSE fleets on the continent, giving him firsthand knowledge of the challenges airlines and ground handlers face in managing, maintaining, and financing their equipment.David's operator-side experience is a genuine differentiator for HiSERV North America. He understands what our customers need because he has been in their seat.
Jeremy Green
Director of Sales Operations
Jeremy Green is Director of Sales Operations at HiSERV North America, responsible for the systems, processes, and commercial coordination that keep the team running efficiently and customers well served. He brings more than nine years of experience in commercial fleet leasing, progressing from Inside Sales Manager to Sales and Marketing Manager at a leading leasing organization within the Chicago area. In those roles he led inside sales strategy, GTM execution, and pipeline development across a broad customer base.Jeremy's background in commercial leasing operations gives HiSERV North America a strong foundation for building the sales infrastructure and customer processes needed to scale.
